About Us

The Choir: Comprises a Junior and Senior Choir with about 25 members of each choir. The Senior Choir is divided into four lines - basses, tenors, altos and sopranos and we are always looking for new members (but this year especially tenors!).

Christmas Concert: Rehearsals begin on Thursday 4 September 2008 in the Church Hall, Staplestown and thereafter every Thursday night. The Christmas concert is usually held in Staplestown Church but on occasion, with the support of the Artane Boys Band and the Greystones Orchestra, additional performances have taken place in larger venues (including the Moat Theatre in Naas and St. Kevins’ GAA centre in Staplestown).

Carol Singing: Annually in Donadea Forest on a weekend in the run up to Christmas.

Social events: The Choir organises a number of social events throughout the year including an annual Christmas Dinner for its members.

Rehearsals take place on Thursday evenings in the Church Hall beside Staplestown Church from 7:30pm – 8:30pm for the Junior Choir, and 8:30pm – 9:30 for the more senior members. New members are always welcome.

If you feel like a chat before showing up, you can approach any of the members or speak to us after 11:15am mass in Staplestown Church.
